Oh my - there's been so much to do around here of late.
My poor neglected blog has taken the back-burner, but you'll be happy to know that my camera has not!

a few happy snaps from our little walk to Agnes Falls last weekend.

Sometimes it is so nice to just hop out of the house and off the farm to go and see something naturally beautiful.  We had an impromptu BBQ at Walkerville with friends last night and ended up being chased off the beach with lightning!

you have to be pretty tired to fall asleep during pancakes for dinner.

Nic and I have set some boundaries in the kitchen.  

Yes, he did get the short end of the stick when he didn't write in our vows...

oodles of rhubarb coming out of the garden at the moment.  We've been eating garlic scapes (called "goblin hats" in our family), loads of arugula, lettuces, and heaps more almost ready to devour. The loganberries and plums are getting ready.  I'm getting ready to use my new Fowlers Preserving Kit.  I picked up a humdinger from my neighbours sister.  I have plans for many jars of pears, applesauce, plums, plum/loganberry/blackberry/raspberry/apricot jams.

I'm still here

Hello Hello!! How are you?
Well, it's official - we've got official labels (almost complete - waiting for our certification label to be approved) we've got a rather large lot of cartons to be filled, and boxes that are filled with our precious hand washed, hand candled, hand packed yummylicious eggs. I'm off to Melbourne tomorrow morning with as many eggs as I can get into boxes for a buyer that wants more than we can produce.

And so - since my good camera is in at Dr. Fuji these pics are from my mobile.  And.. since it's been more than 2 years since I've downloaded mobile pics to my PC I found some corkers.

Bloody hospital. My beautiful perfect baby stuck in plastic and wires for the first days of his life.  This makes my heart start racing and brings tears to my eyes.

She's finished! Our lovely little Poppy doll for Mirabel!
I am umming and ahhhing about a flower for her hair especially after seeing Leonie's - and for the simple fact that we are big fans of hairclips around here!

I am lapping up these silly little sounds and goofy grins at the moment. He started to roll over this week. No more leaving him on the bed (bad mommy!)..

... further proof that we are big hairclip fans around here. I made this owlie clip for Gretta when I was waiting for Monty to arrive at the coast. She's only just started to ask for it. The poor little possum has been erupting at both ends with a case of the vomits. Hope she doesn't share! With that an unlikely option, we have loaded ourselves up on good doses of fermented Cod Liver Oil and Olive leaf.

The big boy had a big night out with Daddy the other evening and caught our dinner! I snapped this photo as he started getting worried about daddy cleaning the fish. He loved eating them and is looking forward to his next outing (I think they're going out again tonight).
